February 5, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Welcome to all those attendees at the T1, 2009 FoULT program, thanks for your participation.

I’m sorry to report that I haven’t, as promised, yet added all the additional resources and links mentioned during the session to this site. I hope to get this done by late in the afternoon of Friday 6th February.

If you have any questions, comments or suggestions. Please feel free to leave them on this blog as a comment or to email me.

Welcome to the Course Analysis and Design blog. This blog and the associated resources are intended to support a session for new staff at CQUniversity as part of the Foundations of University Learning and Teaching (FoULT) program.

The blog, like the face-to-face session is broken into sections:

  • Introduction – an overview of the session and its aims and operation.
  • Context – a look at the context in which teaching at CQUni takes place.
  • Thinking – a look at some ideas, concepts and beliefs that influence how teaching and learning is perceived.
  • Planning – examining how the planning and design of teaching might occur.
  • Strategies – looking at various strategies to teaching that may be useful.

This site and its content is till under construction. The 6 hours of face-to-face sessions that will be using this site and its resources is running on Wed and Thur the 4th and 5th of February. Most of the resources should be in place by then.

The likely resources will include
